Shipping & Delivery Policy

Last updated: 15 September 2026

At Aagrah Fine Jewels, we want your order to reach you as quickly and smoothly as possible.

We use established courier partners and faster available shipping services wherever possible. Aagrah pays the applicable shipping charges for delivery to the address provided with your order.

Once a shipment has been handed over to the courier, the physical movement, local delivery operations and final delivery timing are handled by the courier network.

This policy explains how dispatch, delivery timelines, address changes, serviceability, courier delays, home delivery, PIN-code restrictions and delivery issues work.

1. Where we deliver

Aagrah currently ships within India only.

International shipping is not available at this time.

Delivery depends on the serviceability of the customer’s PIN code.

If your PIN code is not serviceable, becomes temporarily non-serviceable, or the selected courier is unable to deliver to the location, we may contact you through WhatsApp and inform you about the available options.

2. Dispatch timeline

Orders are generally processed and dispatched within:

24–48 hours

after order confirmation. Orders placed before 1 pm on a working day are normally dispatched the same day. Orders placed from 1 pm onwards, on Sundays or on holidays are shipped the next working day. Tracking starts the day after dispatch. We do not ship on Sundays or national holidays.

Dispatch may occasionally take longer because of:

  • High order volumes
  • Sales or promotional periods
  • Public holidays
  • Address-verification issues
  • Courier pickup delays
  • Operational disruptions

Once the shipment has been handed over to the courier, tracking information will be made available where supported.

3. Our courier partners

Aagrah currently ships through selected courier partners including:

  • Blue Dart
  • DTDC
  • Delhivery

Courier selection depends on factors such as:

  • Customer PIN code
  • Serviceability
  • Available delivery speed
  • Courier capacity
  • Shipment requirements
  • Our contractual shipping arrangements

Customers may not always be able to choose the courier used for an individual order.

4. We use faster available shipping services

Aagrah uses faster available courier services wherever supported by the destination PIN code.

Our current shipping arrangements generally include:

  • Blue Dart
  • Domestic Priority
  • DTDC
  • Priority shipping services
  • Delhivery
  • Air shipping

These are among the faster shipping options available to us through the respective courier networks.

We pay the applicable courier charge for these shipping services.

However, choosing a faster shipping service does not guarantee a specific delivery date. Final delivery speed still depends heavily on the destination PIN code and local courier operations.

5. Estimated delivery timelines

The approximate delivery timelines provided to us by courier partners are generally:

Estimated working-day delivery ranges
Delivery locationEstimated timeline
Main Kerala towns and cities2–3 working days
Metro cities3–4 working days
Cities4–5 working days
Towns4–6 working days
Villages / remote locations4–7 working days

These are working-day estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. The next working day counts as day one; the usual dispatch day is included in the displayed estimate. When no reliable PIN-specific estimate is available, the checker shows 4–6 working days. Delivery can vary by 2–3 working days depending on clearance delays, holidays and weather conditions.

Your parcel may arrive earlier when the destination PIN code supports faster delivery.

It may also arrive later because of courier delays, clearance issues, local delivery capacity, regional restrictions or other operational reasons.

6. Delivery estimates shown on our website

Where available, Aagrah may show an estimated delivery window after you enter your PIN code.

For example:

An estimated date range for your PIN

This is an estimate based on available courier information.

Your parcel may arrive:

  • Earlier than the estimated date
  • Within the estimated delivery window
  • Later than estimated if the courier experiences delays

If you need the order for a birthday, anniversary, proposal or another important date, we recommend ordering as early as possible.

7. Why delivery can be delayed

Even when Aagrah uses priority or air shipping, delays can occur after the courier receives the shipment.

Possible reasons include:

  • Courier hub delays
  • Shipment-clearance delays
  • Misrouting
  • Local delivery-centre delays
  • High courier shipment volume
  • Weather conditions
  • Public holidays
  • Transport disruptions
  • Regional restrictions
  • Temporary PIN-code restrictions
  • Courier embargoes
  • Limited local delivery staff
  • Serviceability changes
  • Other courier-network operational issues

These circumstances may cause a shipment to take longer than the original estimate.

8. Once your order has been shipped

Once an order has been dispatched and handed over to the courier, some order details can no longer be changed.

Shipping address

The shipping address cannot be changed once the order has been shipped.

Please make sure the address is correct before dispatch.

Payment method

The payment method cannot be changed after shipment.

For example:

  • COD cannot be converted to prepaid after dispatch
  • A prepaid shipment cannot be changed to COD
  • Phone number

Aagrah may request a phone-number correction from the courier after dispatch.

However, any phone-number change is subject entirely to the courier company’s approval and system capability.

We cannot guarantee that a phone-number change will be accepted.

9. Please check your details before ordering

Before completing your order, please make sure the following information is correct:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • House or building details
  • Street or locality
  • City
  • State
  • PIN code
  • Landmark where required
  • Payment method

Incorrect or incomplete information can lead to delivery delays, unsuccessful attempts or Return to Origin.

10. Free delivery

Aagrah provides free delivery on all orders.

Aagrah pays the applicable courier charge for delivery to the shipping address provided with the order.

Customers should not normally be required to pay an additional delivery charge to the courier representative for the standard delivery of an Aagrah order.

If a courier representative asks you to pay a separate delivery fee, please do not pay immediately.

You may:

  • Contact Aagrah Support, or
  • Contact the relevant courier office directly

and confirm that the shipment has already been booked and paid for as a delivery shipment.

11. Home delivery

Aagrah books shipments for delivery to the shipping address provided by the customer.

We pay the applicable charges for home delivery.

Where normal last-mile delivery is available, the courier should attempt delivery to the address.

However, physical delivery is handled by the courier company, not by Aagrah.

If a courier representative refuses home delivery or asks you to collect the parcel from a courier office, please contact us.

We can:

  • Raise a complaint
  • Request home delivery
  • Raise an escalation
  • Follow up with the courier partner

However, Aagrah cannot directly control the local courier branch or individual delivery representative.

12. Home delivery in towns, villages and remote locations

In some towns, villages and remote areas, the courier company may not have an active delivery agent or regular last-mile delivery service available for the destination PIN code.

This can happen even if the shipment was originally accepted by the courier as serviceable.

In such cases, the local courier branch may ask the customer to collect the parcel from the nearest courier office or delivery centre.

What Aagrah can do

If your shipment was booked for home delivery but the local courier branch is unable to complete doorstep delivery, Aagrah can:

  • Contact the courier partner
  • Raise a delivery complaint
  • Request home delivery
  • Escalate the issue where an escalation option is available
  • Follow up with the local courier team

However, Aagrah cannot create local delivery capacity where the courier company does not have an available delivery agent or last-mile service.

If the courier remains unable to provide doorstep delivery, the customer may need to collect the parcel from the nearest courier office or delivery centre to avoid further delay or Return to Origin.

You may also contact the local courier office

If the local branch is refusing doorstep delivery or asking you to collect the shipment, you may also raise a complaint directly with the local courier office or the courier company's customer-support team.

You can mention that:

The shipment was booked and paid for as a home-delivery shipment by Aagrah Fine Jewels.

You should not be required to pay an additional normal delivery charge simply because the parcel is being collected from the courier office.

This situation is more likely in some towns, villages and remote PIN codes where local courier staffing or last-mile coverage is limited.

13. No open-box delivery

Aagrah currently does not offer open-box delivery.

Our courier partners do not provide open-box delivery to us under our current shipping arrangements.

This means the courier representative is not required to wait while the parcel is opened and inspected before completing the delivery.

Please accept the sealed parcel first.

We strongly recommend recording a complete unboxing video immediately after receiving the order.

If the product is damaged during transit, the unboxing video is required for our transit-damage claim process.

14. If your order arrives damaged

If your jewellery arrives damaged during transit:

  • Record the sealed parcel before opening it
  • Continue recording while opening the parcel
  • Clearly show the products and damage
  • Contact Aagrah Support within 24 hours of delivery

Please refer to our Return, Replacement & Refund Policy for the complete claim requirements.

Eligible transit-damage claims receive a free replacement according to that policy.

15. Courier staff and delivery behaviour

Courier delivery personnel are employees, contractors or representatives of the respective courier company.

They are not employees of Aagrah Fine Jewels.

Their conduct, communication, delivery route and local delivery operations are managed by the courier company.

If you experience:

  • Rude or inappropriate behaviour
  • Refusal to deliver
  • An incorrect delivery attempt
  • A false or incorrect tracking update
  • A request to collect the parcel from an unreasonable distance
  • Another delivery-related issue

please contact Aagrah Support.

We will raise the appropriate complaint or escalation with the courier company where possible.

Aagrah does not approve or encourage misconduct by any courier representative.

16. What Aagrah can do after shipment

Once the parcel is inside the courier network, Aagrah cannot physically control its movement or final delivery.

What we can do is work with the courier team on your behalf.

Depending on the shipment status, we may be able to:

  • Check tracking
  • Contact the courier
  • Raise a complaint
  • Raise an escalation
  • Request a delivery reattempt
  • Request rescheduling
  • Request clarification of an incorrect tracking status
  • Request an eligible phone-number correction
  • Follow up on delayed shipments

We will make reasonable efforts to help resolve genuine delivery problems.

However, the physical delivery remains under the control of the courier partner.

17. Delivery reattempts and rescheduling

If a delivery attempt fails, we may be able to request another attempt or a rescheduled delivery.

This depends on:

  • Courier approval
  • Shipment status
  • PIN-code serviceability
  • Local branch operations
  • Available delivery attempts
  • Courier timelines

Aagrah can raise the request, but we cannot guarantee that the courier will complete the reattempt on a particular day or time.

18. Be careful when sharing courier OTPs

Some courier processes use OTP verification.

Please read the OTP message carefully before sharing it.

Delivery OTP

A delivery OTP may be used to confirm successful delivery.

Only share it when you are actually receiving the parcel and understand what the OTP is being used for.

Cancellation, refusal or return OTP

If an OTP authorises:

  • Cancellation
  • Refusal
  • Return
  • Return to Origin

share it only if you genuinely want the shipment cancelled or returned.

Reattempt or rescheduling

You should not need to approve a cancellation or return simply because you want:

  • Another delivery attempt
  • A reattempt
  • A rescheduled delivery
  • Help receiving the shipment

If a courier representative asks you to share a cancellation or return OTP when you only want another delivery attempt, do not share the OTP.

Contact Aagrah Support if you are unsure.

19. Never share sensitive payment information

Neither Aagrah nor the courier company should need your:

  • UPI PIN
  • ATM PIN
  • Card PIN
  • Internet banking password

Never share these details with anyone claiming to represent Aagrah or a courier company.

20. PIN-code embargoes and temporary restrictions

Courier companies may temporarily stop or restrict delivery to particular PIN codes or areas.

This is sometimes referred to as a PIN-code embargo.

An embargo may happen because of:

  • Local operational issues
  • Weather
  • Security restrictions
  • Capacity limitations
  • Regional disruptions
  • Serviceability changes
  • Other courier-network decisions

During an embargo, the courier may:

  • Delay the shipment
  • Hold it at a courier hub
  • Stop delivery attempts
  • Return the shipment to Aagrah

In some cases, the courier may initiate a Return to Origin (RTO) because of an embargo or service restriction without giving Aagrah advance notice.

Aagrah may not be able to prevent a courier-initiated RTO in such circumstances.

If we become aware that your shipment cannot be delivered because of PIN-code serviceability, we will try to contact you through WhatsApp and inform you about the situation.

21. Return to Origin (RTO)

A courier may return a shipment to Aagrah for reasons including:

  • Recipient unavailable
  • Recipient unreachable
  • Incorrect address
  • Incomplete address
  • Customer refusal
  • Repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts
  • Local serviceability problems
  • PIN-code embargo
  • Lack of local delivery capacity
  • Courier operational issues

The reason shown on the tracking page is generally entered by the courier company.

If you believe the reason recorded by the courier is incorrect, contact us.

We can raise a complaint or escalation with the courier partner where possible.

22. Tracking updates

Tracking information is provided by the courier company's system.

Sometimes tracking may:

  • Update late
  • Stay unchanged for a period
  • Show movement after a delay
  • Show a scan that needs clarification

If your tracking has not changed for an unusual period, please contact us and we can follow up with the courier.

23. Orders needed for birthdays and special occasions

Many Aagrah orders are purchased for:

  • Birthdays
  • Anniversaries
  • Proposals
  • Surprises
  • Other special moments

We understand that the delivery date can be important.

We use faster available shipping services wherever possible.

However, once the parcel has entered the courier network, Aagrah cannot guarantee delivery before a particular birthday, anniversary, event or personal deadline.

If you need the gift for a specific date, please place your order as early as possible.

24. Cancellation after dispatch

Once an order has been shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need help.

Any cancellation or return request after dispatch depends on:

  • Shipment status
  • Courier process
  • Available courier options

Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for complete cancellation terms.

25. International shipping

Aagrah currently delivers only within India.

International shipping is not available at this time.
